You finally arrived in Latin America, the travel of a life time!
However, there’s something that can have a huge impact on your stay abroad: speaking Spanish! 
Your travel will be much more fun and will have more meaning if you are able to speak some words and phrases with the local people.

With years of teaching experience we composed a 2 day immersion course that focuses on teaching you practical Spanish. Although you’ll not be fluent in speaking Spanish after finishing this course, it will cover basic Spanish words and phrases and practical examples that are super useful in daily situations.

How many people speak Spanish in the world?

There are more than 400 million native speakers of Spanish, making it second only to Chinese in terms of the most spoken languages in the world. Spanish is the third most studied language in the world, just shy of 9 million people around the world speak Spanish as a second language.

There are many Spanish speaking countries in the world. Spanish is the official language of the following 20 countries, as well as Puerto Rico: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela.  Although it’s not an official language, Spanish is commonly spoken in the United States, Belize, Andorra and Gibraltar.

I would like – Me gustaría

Where is? – ¿Dónde está?

How much does it cost? – ¿Cuánto cuesta?

What time is it? – ¿Qué hora es?

Do you have? – ¿Tiene?
​I have, I don’t have – (Yo) tengo, (yo) no tengo

I understand, I don’t understand – (Yo) entiendo, (yo) no entiendo

Do you understand? – ¿Entiende?
